L’appartement donnant sur une terrace vue mer était déja en cours de curage et démolition quand le projet de conception commença. L’objectif était de créer des circulations continues autour d’un bloc central. Cette partie de l’appartement devant s’intimiser pour recevoir un double couchage ponctuel. Des étagères commençant dans l’entrée, tournent et se continuent en triple verrière jusque dans la cuisine.

Cet agencement est le trait principal de la personnalité de l’appartement. Sa teinte qui rappel les menuiseries existantes est une référence aux intèrieurs américain des années 50. Une attention particulière fût donnée aux détails d’assemblage des différents élements de panneaux multiplis, comme un jeu d’assemblage manifeste.

The apartment, overlooking a terrace with a sea view, was already undergoing gutting and demolition when the design project began.
The goal was to create seamless circulation around a central block. This area of the apartment was designed to transform into a private space capable of accommodating occasional double sleeping arrangements. Shelves beginning in the entryway curve around and extend through a triple glass partition, continuing into the kitchen.

This arrangement forms the defining feature of the apartment's personality. Its color, echoing the existing woodwork, is a nod to mid-century American interiors from the 1950s. Particular care was given to the assembly details of the various plywood panel components, emphasizing their joinery as a deliberate design statement.
